Be Like the Internet

Thor and Lane workshopped a new presentation at the Webvisions 2007 conference last week: “Be like the Internet: 8 Steps to Success in a Post-2.0 World.” The premise is that organizations will be more successful in the networked world only if they can find ways to be more like the network itself, in terms of structure, culture, communication, style. It’s a work in progress, but the first version is up on Slideshare if you’d like to take a look.

    Hey guys,
    I really like the idea of organizations being like the Internet. Right now, it seems that a lot of them see themselves as the MotherNode when they should see themselves as a BrotherNode. Btw, I’m totally copyrighting those terms. :)
