As promised, we’re happy to officially announce our first “Customer Service is the New Marketing” Summit, a day-long event here in San Francisco on February 4, 2008. We’re really excited about bringing people together who are thinking about customer service in a positive, forward-thinking way and hope you can join us for it.
We’ve already started pulling together a fantastic lineup of speakers and panelists, including Tony Hsieh, CEO of Zappos, speaking on “Building a Customer-focused Culture;” Gina Bianchini, CEO of Ning; Marc Hedlund, Chief Product Officer of Wesabe; Heather Champ, Community Manager for Flickr; Patti Roll, Directory of Community Sourcing for Timbuk2; Tara Hunt, Founder of Citizen Agency; and Brian Oberkirch, Principal at Small Good Thing.
We’re working hard to get a full speaker list in place quickly, in case those folks aren’t enough of a draw. We’ll update you here on our blog about new speakers as they’re added, or throw caution to the wind and just register today, since early bird pricing ends December 31. Special bonus: Use the registration code “BLOG” and get 25% off!

It’s going to be a really great conference with a lot of terrific content.
On November 12 2008 I was assisted in
purchasing items at two different times.
My Macy clerk was Eretha Jones at Macy’c
store in
Tysons Corner
Eretha Jones at Tysons Corner Center 23
was my clerical assistant for shopping.
She was by far the best help I have ever had in this store. Please do what you can to keep her and reward her for her efforts.
