    I think a clearer way of interpreting Picasso (the difference between copying and stealing) is that great artists who “steal” ideas MAKE THEM THEIR OWN.

    (and that goes for any kind of idea stealing ;-)

    And yes…how DO you scale service, GET SATISFACTION???

    speaking as a marketer, i couldn’t agree more with this premise.

    when i was consulting, i’d get clients who had a half-baked product, and then wanted to put lipstick on that pig. slow going, and expensive.

    i so much prefer products that speak for themselves. then, marketing really is customer service… connecting and binding customers to your value proposition.

    man, now i regret not going to the summit!
