We got invited to the White House!
Yes, that White House.
President Obama has called together business leaders from around the country to share their technological and management expertise and bring innovation to the public sector. The group will be meeting this Thursday at the White House’s Forum on Modernizing Government to talk about how to transform the government’s customer service practices. That’s a big task, and one that definitely needs doing.
We’re positively thrilled that our CEO, Wendy Lea, has been invited to share her ideas for leveraging technology to reduce costs, streamline processes, and improve customer service across the federal government. The event will be open to the media and attended by CEOs from a range of industries, Cabinet deputy secretaries, labor leaders, and senior White House staff.
What’s really great is that this event is specifically *not* a meeting of government consultants and government service providers. Instead, it’s about innovation around ideas specifically brought by people outside of Washington.
Hail to the chief, and congratulations to our own Wendy Lea!

Love how Obama’s administration is so supportive of new technology! Would be great to hear anything Wendy is allowed to talk about from the discussions they had!
Awesome news. Two of my favorites meeting sounds like a winner. I admire our president and his administration and I use Get Satisfaction on a daily basis.

Its good to hear that the White House is taking into considerations the factors and opportunities that technology can contribute to a larger audience.
