don’t appriciate the jab about the hand sewn pants. but i guess you are just making fun of every aspect – so i get it. But you try to hide the reason WHY we care about where our clothes come from. We care because we don’t want clothes made by poor sweat-shop workers working in slave conditions – like those Nike’s. We hate capitalism.

  8. Have a question on personal electronic device. How do you term it? Is an ordinary mobile phone considered as Personal Electronic Device? Or only smart phone?

  9. David

Most people use dates to define the Millenial Generation. This should not be done, because there are many individuals who were born from the late 1970s through the late ’90s who do not have the characteristics of this generation, as well as 50 -year – olds who are more like 20 – and – 30 – somethings. Such people do not feel that they belong to the generation to which they were assigned, which is why they should be able to choose whichever one best fits their CHARACTERISTICS. For example, I was born in 1979, and while there are many out there who say I am gen y, and others call me gen x, I am a Millenial because I am tech – savvy, open – minded to ALL kinds of diversity, and I like the latest music and entertainment.

@David – your statement “I like the latest music and entertainment” is exactly what is wrong with trend followers. How can you know in advance of hearing it that you will like a particular piece of music? That’s ludicrous and embarrassing.

@stephanie: why do you hate capitalism? Perhaps you should consider returning to your diminutive elite liberal arts college to go beyond your precious education studying the Bolshevik Revolution. Understand the factors and influence of your cultural buying choices on global supply and demand, and the workers who are willing to do those jobs for you. You’re not making your own denim jeans are you?

for an info graphic, the apple branding is rather misleading. Majority of cellphone and computer owners (Gen-Y included) do NOT own any apple products. Apple circle jerk meme is old.

Brian, my point is that I am a Millenial, NOT Gen X, because I have NOTHING in common with Gen X.

  28. This should not be done, because there are many individuals who were born from the late 1970s through the late ’90s who do not have the characteristics of this generation, as well as 50 -year –
