Sometimes, though, third-party recognition—whether in the form of a glowing customer comment or public accolades—makes you truly step back and feel great about what you’ve accomplished.
We have such a moment this week when we were awarded the 2013 Silver Stevie Award for Sales or Customer Service Solutions Technology Partner of the Year. The Stevie Awards are the world’s top sales awards, contact center awards, and customer service awards. The Stevie Awards organizes several of the world’s leading business awards shows including the prestigious American Business AwardsSM and International Business AwardsSM.
It might seem counterintuitive to lump Sales and Customer Service technology together in one award, but we actually think it’s astute recognition of the way business is changing. It’s no longer enough to have a great product. The way you interact with your customers—the way you address their questions, support them when they’re having issues, and respond to them whenever they reach out to you—is just as key as the products you product in driving loyalty.
The companies that take the best care of their customers and have the best relationships with them are the ones who grow revenue and become the brands everyone wants to buy from.
